Cramming Everything into One Weekend!!

Last weekend was a busy one as usual. We left with our RV Saturday morning to go to Hamilton. Ryley had a double header for baseball there. As it worked out my side of the family had a family reunion the same day in Hamilton! It couldn't get any better than that. Ryley's team did very well, winning both of their games against a team a year older than his. Both games went overtime though so we were a little late for the reunion. We went to Webster Falls and it was beautiful there. Some people had left already, and most of the food was gone, but it was still a lot of fun to see those we haven't seen in awhile. There was a friendly game of football going on.

After we closed the park at dark, we found a place to park the RV and watched a movie on the laptop. In the morning we headed to Guelph for Steve's cousin's 25th anniversary. It was a great weekend for weather and visiting family on both sides. The only unfortanate thing is that we had to leave shyla at home as she had dance on saturday and Annie rehearsals on Sunday!!

Commercials

Well we had a crazy busy summer so that is why I am so behind in writing. One exciting thing that happened this summer is that Shyla scored her first two commercials. The first one is for moonsand bake shop. She shot that one near the end of July. She had a lot of fun doing it, however it was a lot of work. She was on set for about 9 hours that day. The bonuses was the food, and some new experiences and new friends. She was called in again last week to record one more line that she is saying instead of the announcer. We are thinking that it should be out soon to start advertising for Christmas. There are some pictures of her on set. The other commercial that she landed was for Hess Gas Stations in the States. They come out with a collectable toy in time for Christmas every year. This year is the Hess Jet. Over 400 auditioned for this commercial and Shyla got one of the lead parts. She shoots this tomorrow and Friday. The commercial will come out in November but will only be aired in the States. You will be able to search it up on youtube though and hopefully they will send us a copy.
